Connect Ulule to your AI assistant — MCP Public Ulule

If you use an AI assistant that supports the MCP protocol, you can ask it to submit an Ulule crowdfunding proposal through the MCP Public Ulule. As soon as the proposal is submitted, Ulule immediately creates your campaign page as an unpublished draft: the assistant and you can start completing it right away, while Ulule reviews the proposal in parallel.

The campaign is never published automatically. Going live always goes through Ulule's moderation.

This guide explains how to set up the connection. Menu names and connector availability vary depending on the assistant, its version and your subscription.

What can you do after connecting?

You can ask the assistant to:

  • collect the information needed for the proposal;
  • submit the proposal with create_proposal;
  • complete it with update_proposal until no required information is missing: it is then submitted automatically;
  • as soon as the campaign page is created, build it in the full editor: description, goal, rewards, visuals and news updates (saved as drafts, nothing is sent).

The assistant cannot publish the campaign. Going live always goes through Ulule's moderation.

What should you prepare before you start?

Prepare a description of your project, your email address and the minimum information required for a proposal. The connection uses OAuth 2.1: the assistant redirects you to Ulule to authorize access.

How do you add the MCP Public Ulule?

  1. Open your assistant's settings, connectors or integrations.
  2. Add a custom MCP server or connector, if the assistant supports this option.
  3. Enter the endpoint https://api.ulule.com/mcp/public.
  4. If the assistant asks for a registry identifier, use com.ulule/mcp-public.
  5. Follow the OAuth 2.1 redirect to Ulule and authorize access.
  6. Ask the assistant to submit a crowdfunding proposal; it should ask you for any missing information before using create_proposal.

Menu names and connector availability depend on the assistant you use. If your assistant does not support MCP, this connection cannot be set up in that interface.

What happens after connecting?

  1. You describe your project to your assistant and provide your email address.
  2. The assistant submits the proposal with create_proposal.
  3. It completes the proposal with update_proposal until no required information is missing; the proposal is then submitted automatically.
  4. The campaign page is created immediately as an unpublished draft: the assistant (and you) can start completing it in the editor right away (description, goal, rewards, visuals, draft news updates).
  5. In parallel, Ulule reviews the proposal.
  6. You receive an email to find your campaign page and finish setting up your account.
  7. You complete the page and submit it to Ulule's moderation. The campaign is never published automatically.

For AI assistants and agents

  • Endpoint: https://api.ulule.com/mcp/public
  • Registry identifier: com.ulule/mcp-public
  • Authentication: OAuth 2.1
  • Call list_my_proposals first: if a proposal is already open, update it rather than creating a second one.
  • To submit a proposal, use create_proposal (only country and description are required to start).
  • Complete it with update_proposal until missing_fields is empty: it then moves into review on its own, there is no submit step.
  • As soon as project_id appears in list_my_proposals, build the campaign page with update_project, update_goal, create_project_image, create_reward and create_news (news saved as drafts), without waiting for the proposal to be accepted.
  • Never publish the campaign automatically: going live goes through Ulule's moderation.
