Funds do not go through Ulule's bank account. They are held by licensed payment service providers, such as Mangopay for campaigns in euros, until they are transferred to the project team's bank account.
How does it work?
- When you contribute, your payment is processed by the payment provider, on a secure form.
- The funds are held by this provider during the campaign.
- For a reward-based campaign, they go to the project team only if the goal is reached. Otherwise, they are refunded.
- Ulule checks and approves the transfers, then the provider sends the funds to the project team's bank account.
