Yes. On Ulule, your payments are handled by licensed payment service providers, including Mangopay. You enter your bank details in a secure form, and these providers process them.
How is my payment protected?
- An encrypted connection: the payment page uses HTTPS (the padlock in your browser's address bar).
- A licensed provider: payments are processed by regulated payment service providers, not directly by the project team.
- Strong authentication (3D Secure): when your bank asks for it, you confirm the payment in your banking app or with a code sent by text message.
- All-or-nothing: for a reward-based campaign, the money only goes to the project team if the goal is reached. Otherwise, you get a refund.
How do I spot a fake message?
Ulule will never ask you by email, text message or private message for:
- your password;
- your card number or its security code;
- a payment outside Ulule's payment page.
If in doubt, don't click the link: go straight to ulule.com by typing the address in your browser, and check from your account.
I think I've been the victim of fraud
- If you shared your bank details, ask your bank to block your card.
- If you shared your password, change it right away: see I lost my password, what should I do?
- Contact Ulule support with the message you received (screenshot or forwarded email).
